Bicyclist ambushed by two gunmen in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – A bicyclist was shot in the hand by two gunmen who fired several shots at him at East 6th and Spring streets about 8:18 p.m. Tuesday, according to Jamestown Police Capt. Robert Samuelson.

The unidentified victim was taken initially to WCA Hospital, then transferred to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa., for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Samuelson said. The victim wss targeted, he added.
