Imprisoned Niagara Falls crack dealer gets an extra six months

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man, currently serving a two-year state prison sentence on a weapons possession conviction in Erie County, had six months tacked onto that Tuesday for selling crack cocaine in the Falls.

Tajaih O. Moore, 24, of Linwood Avenue, was sentenced to 2½ years for the drug deal, but State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. said he had been convinced by Assistant Public Defender Vincent M. Sandonato to make that sentence run concurrently with the Erie County sentence. The net result was an extra six months behind bars for Moore.

He was paid $80 for some crack by a Niagara County Drug Task Force informant July 15, 2015. Moore will have to repay the $80 after his release from prison, Kloch ordered.
