Classic ‘65 Mustang highlights Town of Niagara car show

TOWN OF NIAGARA – An award-winning 1965 Ford Mustang Blizzard will be on display Monday as the focal point of the Town of Niagara’s annual “American Graffiti Classic Car Show” Monday. It’s part of the Music Mania Monday free concert at Veterans Memorial Park, 7000 Lockport Road.

The Blizzard, built by the Ring Brothers for Dom Farbo, a Niagara Falls native, has won repeated regional and nation awards in recent years.

There will be plenty of other cars on display. Awards will be presented for hot rods, muscle cars, Corvettes, Mustangs, trucks, motorcycles, and classics from before 1950, the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. Monday, and the awards will be presented at 7:45, during the intermission of the concert by Pauly & The Goodfellas. Food, beer and refreshments will be available for purchase. Spectators are urged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. A 50-50 drawing will take place with proceeds going to charity.
