A veteran venture capital executive who has worked with Yahoo, BuzzFeed, Fitbit and other well-known technology companies will take part in a talk next week in Buffalo.
Steve Murray is a partner with Revolution Growth, the venture capital firm backed by AOL founder Steve Case, among others.
Murray’s talk will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Aug. 12 in dig Buffalo, the co-working space in the Thomas R. Beecher Jr. Innovation Center, 640 Ellicott St.
Doors open at 8:30 and light snacks will be served. His talk is free and open to the public.
Murray previously was a partner and managing director at Softbank Capital, where he worked for nearly 20 years. He has experience in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, operations and all aspects of venture activities.
