DARIEN – Ninety-five alleged underage drinkers were arrested as part of a sting operation at concerts at regional outdoor venues last week.
The sting, under the state Department of Motor Vehicles’ Operation Prevent, targeted the Luke Bryan concert at CMAC in Canandaigua on Thursday and the G-Eazy concert at Darien Lake on Friday, authorities announced Tuesday.

The DMV’s Division of Field Investigation teamed up with both the Genesee County and Ontario County Sheriff’s offices to make the arrests and confiscate allegedly phoney identity documents at both concerts.
Twenty-nine were arrested at Canandaigua, including a Rochester teen charged with felony second-degree assault for allegedly striking a DMV investigator after trying to use a fake Rhode Island driver’s license. Sixty-six arrests were made at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center.
