Neighbors and community members will have an opportunity Wednesday to hear about changes to a proposed redevelopment project at 905 Elmwood Ave.
Ellicott Development Co. will present details of its modifications to the mixed-use project at a public hearing sponsored by Delaware District Councilmember Joel Feroleto. Those in attendance, including representatives of various block club and civic organizations, will also be able to comment on the changes.
The developer is constructing a four-story mixed-use building with 21 luxury apartments and retail space. It will include a first-floor restaurant called JT’s that will be owned by Henry Gorino and Chuck Mauro, with a second-floor patio, and apartments on the rest of the second floor plus the third and fourth floors.
The project is underway, but Ellicott has adjusted elements of the appearance, including changing some materials, and needs Planning Board approval – including a new public hearing – before it can proceed.
Feroleto’s hearing, which is separate from the Planning Board’s, will be held at the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, at 875 Elmwood Avenue, at 6 p.m. on Aug. 3.
