Three men arrested in Jamestown drug raid

JAMESTOWN – Three men – two from Jamestown men and one from Lakewood were arrested during a drug raid Wednesday afternoon at an apartment at 904 N. Main St.

Wayne E. Leeper, 62, and Jarvell E. Leeper, 33, both of that address, were taken into custody during the raid by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, State Police and the Jamestown Police SWAT team at about 4:30 p.m. Antwain O. Jackson, 40, of Lakewood, who was in that apartment when the raid began, jumped out a window but was quickly caught on the street.

Investigators reported finding a quantity of crack cocaine, more than a pound of marijuana, a number of prescription pills and drug scales and packaging material in the apartment. The relationship of the two Leepers was not disclosed. Both are being held on charges of third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Jackson was charged with obstructing governmental administration. He also remains in custody.
