LOCKPORT – A North Tonawanda man has been indicted on a charge of stealing a motorcycle April 30 from Bob Weaver Motorsports on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Wheatfield.
Steven L. Carney, 25, of Eddy Drive, pleaded not guilty to third-degree grand larceny in a Wednesday appearance in Niagara County Court. A co-defendant, Amanda Flanagan, 29, of the same address, is to be arraigned Friday, Assistant District Attorney Joel M. Grundy said. The evidence in the case includes a store surveillance video, Grundy told Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.
Carney also may be facing a second indictment, Grundy added. Carney and Brandon A. Belviso, 23, of Niagara Street, Sanborn, were arrested in May and charged with a Jan. 5 robbery at a 7-Eleven store on Plaza Drive in Wheatfield.
