Letter: Huge ego gets in the way whenever Trump speaks

Huge ego gets in the way whenever Trump speaks

Watching Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention reminded me of a movie from back in the 1930s. Everything was “I,” “me,” “myself.”

Does the candidate understand that being a company CEO is different than being president of the United States? What will he do when the Constitution of our country specifically designates three branches of government and he doesn’t like it and wants to do things his way? Will he just say, “It’s my way or the highway”?

The American people want a president who can bring people together, not an autocrat. By the way, whatever happened to showing us his tax returns?

Be afraid; be very afraid of this megalomaniac. Yes, the old saying “what goes around comes around” is still true today. His speech should have been titled “The Triumph of The Donald: A legend in his own mind.”
