The Lancaster Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall, 21 Central Ave., will be open additional hours next week to accommodate the purchase of 2016-17 New York State hunting and fishing licenses, Town Clerk Diane M. Terranova announced.
Hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Regular hours of 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will resume on Aug. 8.
Licenses are valid for a year beginning Sept. 1.
Those obtaining new licenses should bring identification in the form of a driver’s license or a previous hunting or fishing license. Those who cannot appear personally to pick up new licenses can allow another person to bring their ID.
License fees must be paid at the time of purchase.
