This Week in Pictures: July 16 -22

This Week in Pictures is a weekly visual wrap-up of photographs by Buffalo News photographers. This week we take you from the thrill of  experiencing the MistRider Zipline in Niagara Falls to the calm of kayaking on Ellicott Creek. Throughout the week we shared the spectacle of the Republican National Convention that brought police, protesters and politicians to Cleveland, Ohio.  Early in the week we pictured the inspiring story of "Ice Creamcycle Dude" and later in the week the touching final “Goodbye to Laura Cummings.” We also introduced you to Bills rookie James Wilder and brought you up-close to Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas. Dan Auerbach of the Arcs rocked Canalside while the Bisons played ball against Gwinnett. Finally we couldn't resist highlighting a pet fashion show. Take a second look at the photos and stories that make up this week in pictures.
