A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle Tuesday night in the Town of Tonawanda, according to State Police.
Nickol E. Cesaroni, 29, of North Tonawanda, was pulled over on the Niagara Thruway for a speeding violation and officers then noticed she was intoxicated. She was taken into custody, transported and processed. Her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.16 percent, twice the legal limit.
In addition to driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, she was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and numerous vehicle and traffic violations.
The child was turned over to her father.
