JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police called out their SWAT team Friday night to arrest two people in a home on Royal Avenue.
Roshad J. Roberts, 27, who was wanted on felony warrants issued in Pennsylvania, was spotted at the property by passing officers about 8:40 p.m. A woman who also lives there, Hilary N. Link, 23, refused to allow officers to enter to look for Roberts, police said. A city judge issued a search warrant at the request of Jamestown detectives, and the SWAT team then entered the house and found Roberts, who was charged with weapons possession and three counts of child endangerment because there were three children in the house. He also was served with the Pennsylvania warrants.
Link also was arrested and charged with child endangerment and hindering prosecution. Both were arraigned Saturday and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.
