Wheatfield man admits to two felonies in incident with escort

LOCKPORT – A Wheatfield man, who was charged with assaulting an escort and stealing her car, pleaded guilty to two felonies Friday in Niagara County Court.

About 2:30 a.m. Jan. 21, Jeffrey W. Brown, 50, of Stenzel Avenue, pulled a knife on the woman who came to his home and made off with her car after she ran away. He drove the woman’s car to the home of his father on Budd Road in Cambria, where he stole his father’s car. Later, he allegedly stole another car in Niagara Falls and crashed it in a police chase along Witmer Road in Wheatfield.

Judge Sara Sheldon, who scheduled sentencing for Sept. 28, promised Brown concurrent sentencing, capping his prison time at seven years.
