JAMESTOWN – Five individuals were arrested Thursday morning as the result of an ongoing investigation into the sale and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Jamestown area, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Around 11:05 a.m., investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and State Police executed a search warrant at the lower apartment of 153 South Main St. where they arrested Laquil D. Hilson, 22, of Jamestown, and Sydney Johnson, 23, of Buffalo.
Prior to the SWAT team entry, investigators also pulled over a vehicle that had left the residence. There were three Buffalo residents inside, Nicholas J. Gaskin, 29, Kayma L. Snow, 24, and Clifford Stanley, 36.
Crack cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana and more than $2,000 in cash was seized at the residence and in the vehicle.
All five subjects were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Johnson also was charged with criminal impersonation.
