A hands-on and interactive exhibit entitled “Yum!” opens at the Buffalo Museum of Science on Saturday.
The focus on healthy living includes a spinning wheel that explores the connection between physical activity and calories burned; a checkout station that allows kids to learn about foods while they’re scanned; and visualizing how to eat a rainbow.
The principal sponsor is Wegmans Food Markets, with additional support provided by General Mills. General admission at the museum is $11 for adults, $9 for students and military members, and $8 for children 2 to 17. The science museum is located at 1020 Humboldt Parkway, in Martin Luther King Park.
