A public meeting will be held Monday night on the proposal for a five-story condominium project at Elmwood and Forest avenues.
The project’s developer, Chason Affinity Companies, will present its plans at 7 p.m. in the Buffalo Seminary atrium, 205 Bidwell Pkwy.
The project site sits on the southeast corner of Elmwood and Forest, running from Pano’s restaurant north to Forest.
Plans call for 57 condominium units and several storefronts. Construction would require the demolition of nine houses on Elmwood, including several stores, one house behind and two on Forest.
Previous plans from the developer called for a seven-story, 120-room hotel on the site. Those plans spawned a lawsuit from nearby residents.
