NIAGARA FALLS – The Niagara County Health Department is changing the schedule for its sexually transmitted disease clinics held in the Trott Access Center, 1001 11th St., Niagara Falls.
Effective July 18, clinic hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, except major holidays. The opening time is 30 minutes sooner than the current schedule.
No appointment is required to take advantage of the clinic’s confidential testing, treatment and counseling for anyone 12 years of age and older. Clients must pay a fee for services, and insurance is accepted.
Anyone with a history of any form of sexual activity with a person of unknown STD or HIV status should seek evaluation and testing, the Health Department said. Before starting any new sexual relationship, both partners should be tested, and treated if infections are diagnosed. More information about clinic services, is available by calling the Health Department’s Nursing Division at 278-1900.
