SHERMAN – An Erie, Pa., man was charged early Thursday with driving with a blood-alcohol content 2½ times the legal limit.
State Police charged Michael Polon, 36, with aggravated driving while intoxicated just after midnight after a traffic stop on Interstate 86.
Troopers were responding to a report of a vehicle driving recklessly on eastbound I-86. After he was pulled over, Polon failed several field sobriety tests, State Police said.
Polon registered a BAC of 0.20 percent at the Jamestown barracks. Troopers issued him appearance tickets for Sherman Town Court for later this month.
