Buffalo speed limit enforcement actions begun

The City of Buffalo’s annual summertime speed limit enforcement operations began Wednesday night with police starting by monitoring the Moselle Street and Best Street areas. In announcing the start of the operations Mayor Byron W. Brown said Fillmore District Councilman David Franczyk had requested that the Moselle Street area be one of the first sections monitored because of concerns he had been getting from area residents about unsafe traffic in the area. The mayor said police will be conducting similar enforcement actions throughout all other areas of the city for the next four months.
