Cattaraugus County man charged with producing child porn

A man accused of manipulating a woman into having sex with a teenage relative and videotaping it is facing child pornography charges.

Investigators say Kevin James Fox, 60, of Limestone, used several fake online personas to communicate with the woman and convince her that she was a target of organized crime figures.

Fox, according to the FBI, manipulated the woman into believing the only way to avoid danger was to have sexual contact with the teenage relative and to take photos and videos of her conduct.

The woman complied with his request and sent the images and videos to phones controlled by the defendant, investigators said.

Fox is charged with production and receipt of child pornography and faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison up to a maximum of 50 years in prison.

The charges. which are being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, are the result of an investigation by FBI and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
