FC Buffalo fought back from two goals behind in the last 14 minutes of regulation but couldn’t take advantage of Erie’s man down plight in extra time and gained a 3-3 tie with the Commodores in the National Premier Soccer League Saturday night at Gannon University in Erie, Pa.
Kieran Toland was credited with the FC Buffalo tally in the 40th minute on an own-goal by the Commodores. Erie scored three in a row in the second half for a 3-1 lead. Regan Steele’s goal in the 76th minute made it 2-1 before Kendell McFayden got the equalizer.
When an Erie player went off with a red card during extra time FC Buffalo was unable to cash in.
FC Buffalo (6-3-3) will complete its regular season with a home game against Indiana Eleven on Friday night at 7 at All High Stadium.
