NIAGARA FALLS – A stroll around Goat Island in historic Niagara Falls State Park from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday will be part of the state Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Office’s summer program.
The park is the oldest state park in the nation, established in 1885.
And, the park will be the starting point of an evening river bike tour from 6 to 8 p.m. July 10. Participants will ride along the Niagara Gorge to Devil’s Hole State Park and back in time for fireworks. Pre-registration is required, by calling 282-5154.
