A Kenmore man was charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday night in the Town of Tonawanda after a police officer allegedly saw the man urinating from the open door of his vehicle.
Robert Swaydis, 42, was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and exposure after the incident about 10:30 p.m. on Crestmount Avenue, police said.
Officer Jason Arlington observed Swaydis urinating from the open door of his vehicle while still partially seated, police said.
Upon interviewing Swaydis, Arlington made observations of alcohol consumption, police said. Swaydis failed roadside field sobriety tests and registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.19 percent, police said.
