Parolee accused of selling drugs to Task Force agent

RIPLEY – A parolee is facing drug charges following his arrest about 9 p.m. Thursday in his Route 20 apartment.

Rance Freeman, 28, is charged with third-degree sale of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance and a parole violation.

He is accused of selling quantities of narcotics to an agent of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. During a search of the suspect’s apartment, authorities said, oxycodone was found.

The suspect was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail on the parole violation.
