This Week in Pictures: June 18 - 24

This week in pictures around Western New York by The Buffalo News photographers; summertime and the living is easy. Highlights include incredible student success stories, the cutest lion cub, concerts, cheering fans, the Juneteenth celebration and Western New Yorkers enjoying the many parks in our area. It was also a week that brought both sides of a hit-and-run accident to court, coverage of the state's plan to deal with the opioid crisis and Buffalo's attempt to force an investor to do something about a rundown church.
