Family movies featured in multiple summer film series

Three family film series and a Robin Williams festival are just a few of the newly announced summer movie series being held at area movie houses and even outdoors. Here’s a quick look.

Riviera Theatre

67 Webster St., North Tonawanda (rivieratheatre.org).

The Riviera will have two film series this summer, both on Thursdays. Tickets are $3 per film, $10 “fun pack” (beverage, popcorn, candy and admission) or free for Riviera Theatre members who may upgrade to a fun pack for $7.

Free classic family films will be shown at 11 a.m. Wednesday and Saturday.

Flicks on Old Falls Street

Free movies will be shown Thursday nights outdoors on Old Falls Street. Preshow music and games start at 7:30 p.m. with the movie at dusk (about 9 p.m.). Blankets and chairs are allowed; concessions will be available for purchase.
