Hello there! Matt Linde of Clarence hauled in this 47-inch northern pike on Conesus Lake using a Rapala.

Brendan Lembke, 8, of Williamsville caught this largemouth bass on a worm in the Niagara River.
Kevin Keith of Cincinnati scored this 22-inch, 6-pound smallmouth while out with Capt. Jeff Draper.
The Steel Leader Guide Services, LLC u2013 Tournament Team was fishing out of Dunkirk on June 12th. This was the second day of the Southtowns Walleye Tournament and waves were supposed to be 1-3 feet growing to 2-4; however, they were clearly 3-5 and a few 6u2019s were around and growing by the hour. Our team, consisting of Dr. Michael Jordan (Team doctor for the Buffalo Bandits), Dr. Scott Bouton (Chief of Emergency Medicine at Childrens Hospital), Michael Allaire (resident of Hanford Bay and Hamburg), and myself (pictured - Michael Rauh, MD - Medical Director and head team orthopaedic surgeon for the Buffalo Bandits and partner with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine), was trolling in to the harbor in 63 feet of water and were surprised to tie into this nice brown trout!! Not a common catch out of Lake Erie for sure; however, it was a welcome sight jumping clear out of the lake with a 5-color lead behind it!! We used a purple and pink u201cFlashy Muffu201d Bay Rat Long Shallow lure. We needed all hands to boat this fish ... steering in and out of the waves, netting, and reeling !! The fish was u201cboat shyu201d and went on several runs and leaps!! What a sight to remember!!
