NORTH TONAWANDA – A 17-year-old who hadn’t been seen in eight days has been located, North Tonawanda police said Wednesday afternoon.
Victoria “Tori” Wagner left her grandmother’s house in the early morning of June 14.
The family has received messages on the Snapchat mobile app that led investigators to believe the teen was being held against her will, police said.
She stated that she was being held against her will, but didn’t know where she was being held. She told police the people who were holding her released her after they saw her picture on the news.
The case has been referred to the Buffalo Police Department.
