LeRoy appointed to vacancy on Marilla conservation panel

An empty seat on the Marilla Conservation Advisory Board was filled last week when the town council appointed Erich LeRoy through the end of 2016.

A 2009 Iroquois High School graduate, LeRoy volunteers for many organizations in the town, including the historical society and Marilla Fire Company. LeRoy also served in student government at Iroquois and Medaille College.

The vacancy was created when Mary Furman stepped down from the post last month.
