22-year-old man shot Tuesday morning in Kensington-Grider area

A 22-year-old man was shot Tuesday morning in the Kesington-Grider area, Buffalo police said.

Officers responded to the area of Leroy and Richlawn avenues just after 9 a.m.

The victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center in a private vehicle. His injuries appear to be non-life-threatening, police said.

Police did not release his name.
