ELLERY – A Jamestown man injured in a one-vehicle, rollover crash Sunday night faces drunken driving charges and had a child in the vehicle at the time of the crash, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said.
Efrain Mariera, 36, rolled his vehicle over at about 8:15 p.m. on Route 430, the sheriff’s office said.
Mariera, who has a prior conviction for driving while intoxicated in the last 10 years, was taken to WCA Hospital in Jamestown for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
No information was immediately available about whether the child was injured.
The sheriff’s office charged Mariera with felony DWI, felony DWI for violating Leandra’s Law, aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device, speeding, moving from a lane unsafely and driving without a license.
