Trump aide Michael Caputo celebrates firing of campaign manager

Michael R. Caputo, the East Aurora resident who serves as a communications aide for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, reacted gleefully to Monday's announcement that Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was fired from his post.

According to the report in The New York Times, Caputo channeled his inner-Munchkin in the following tweet:

The campaign manager in Carl Paladino's 2010 run for governor and the occasional talk-show host for local radio station WBEN, Caputo has been working for months to secure the Republican nomination for Trump in New York. Given his "Wizard of Oz" reference to the demise of the Wicked Witch of the West, Caputo is thrilled about Lewandowski's dismissal.

The News' Sandy Tan wrote a detailed profile on the adventurous Caputo in March, which also connected to the bizarre rumor about the conservative politician's role with the CIA.
