Bob Kowal, who coached more than 300 wins as a high school head coach at Maryvale and Lake Shore and was a long-time manager or coach in Muny, AAABA, American Legion, CEBA and the Empire States games, will be among the 14 who will be enshrined in the Western New York Baseball Hall of Fame. Kowal’s name was inadvertently left off the list of honorees published in The News June 18. The Hall of Fame dinner will be Sept. 14 at the Lake Erie Italian Club, 3200 South Park Ave., Lackawanna.
