Falls man avoids jail in felony DWI case

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man, who was given a year on interim probation to prove he should not be sent to prison in a felony drunken driving case, succeeded Friday.

Michael D. Snowden, 41, of Cudaback Avenue, Niagara Falls, was given a full five years on probation by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr., plus a fine and fees totaling $1,605. Snowden pleaded guilty in the wake of a Sept. 10, 2014, arrest in the Falls.
