Rudy Kolbas, 72, of Akron is Erie County’s first Lottery millionaire of 2016.
The retiree won the $3 million Frenzy scratch-off game. When asked at a press conference Friday how it felt to win, he said: “I can’t explain it. What am I going to do with all this money?” He said he plans to invest his winnings and to also use the money to buy a new car and help his family.
Kolbas bought his winning ticket at CMA Petroleum (Uni Mart) on Main Road in Akron.
The lottery said this was Erie County’s eighty millionaire in the past 12 months.
