MUMFORD – The Genesee Country Village & Museum’s History on Tap program will celebrate the museum’s 40th anniversary Friday with a special evening called “40 years and 40 Beers.”
From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., visitors can sample a variety of beers, ciders and other alcoholic beverages created by local brewers and vintners, enjoy the rock band Dog House and look inside more than two dozen historical buildings, including the upper stories of Hyde (Octagon) and Hamilton houses, which rarely are open to the public.
Admission is $20 online at gcv.org or $25 at the door and is limited to those 21 years old and older. It includes a 40th anniversary tasting glass. A cash bar will be open. Party food will be available for purchase. For more information, visit gcv.org or call (585) 294-8218.
