For many Republicans, Trump is not an option
I have voted Republican for president every four years since 1980. Now that Donald Trump appears to have locked up the nomination, many Republicans are feeling the pressure to come into line and pull the level for him this November. This is despite the fact that he is one of the vainest, most vulgar and volatile contenders for the White House we have ever seen.
But 20 years from now, if my children or grandchildren were to ask me if I voted for Trump in 2016, how could I maintain a clear conscience and good example if I said that yes, I did vote for him? That is why I will never cast my ballet for that man.
