WNY United named Patrick T. Fitzgerald to its board of directors. Fitzgerald is an attorney at Phillips Lytle. The mission of WNY United is to increase awareness of the problems associated with drug and alcohol abuse, educate community stakeholders on these issues and mobilize a broad cross section of individuals and groups to participate actively in proven strategies to prevent substance abuse.


The Association for a Buffalo Presidential Center elected Linda Czuba Brigance to the board of trustees. The non-for-profit association encourages the study, exploration, interpretation and public awareness of Buffalo and Western New York’s contribution to the presidency and national affairs. Brigance recently retired from the SUNY Fredonia Department of Communication.

Made In America Store recently hosted its grand opening event and ribbon cutting for its largest store expansion to date at 1000 West Maple Court in Elma, 600 yards from its original location. The new 18,000 square foot facility is three times the size of the original Elma location. The store is also celebrating six years of selling 100% percent USA made products. The Made in America Store has seven additional locations now open in Western New York.


Delaware North was named one of three new board members of the American Gaming Association. Delaware North Gaming owns and operates casinos in New York, Illinois, Florida, Arizona, West Virginia, Arkansas and Ohio.
