Burchfield Nature and Art Center celebrates Sunday in the Park on June 19

Friends of Burchfield Nature and Art Center, 2001 Union Road, West Seneca, will host the annual Sunday in the Park from noon to 4 p.m. June 19.

Featured are animal rescue groups, which will have pets available to visit or adopt. The Critter Ranch will be on hand with a llama and products made from llama fiber.

Mark Carra, director of Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, will exhibit FasciNature critters, including insects, snakes, amphibians and more.

Messigner Woods Wildlife Care and Education Center will be present with Jimini Crowket, the Talking Crow, owls and other animals.

Artist Murray Mann will be on hand to sell caricature drawings of visitors. Professional face painter Sheila K. Reigh will create art on your face, and beachcomber artist Nancy Williams will display beach glass jewelry. The jazz band “My Cousin Tone” will perform on the patio.

Also on hand are food trucks as well as the Burchfield volunteers’ indoor Cafe Corner, where free beverages will be offered and homemade baked goods sold.
