Falls man pleads guilty to having 2 pounds of cocaine

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man pleaded guilty Friday to a charge that he had two pounds of cocaine Dec. 7 when police raided his home.

Michael C. Sawyer, 28, of Michigan Avenue, is to be sentenced July 29 by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon, who could send Sawyer, a second-time felon, to prison for as long as 12 years.

Sawyer admitted to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
