muslim AWARDS BANQUET: The Muslim Public Affairs Council of Western New York will present, The American Muslim Millennial: Leading the Way, an annual banquet beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo, Two Fountain Plaza. The inaugural Outstanding American Muslim Millennial Awards will be presented to Juweria Dahir, Manhal Siddiqi, Fadi Suboh and Nida Syed. Khurram Dara will be the keynote speaker.

E-RECYCLING DROP-OFF: Western New York residents can recycle old electronics during a free drop-off event sponsored by State Sen. Michael H. ARMED FORCES DAY SMOKER: The Cigar Ambassadors will host an Armed Forces Day Smoker from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 7269 Ward Road, North Tonawanda. Tickets are $40, presale; $45 at the door and include a 50/50 drawing, chair massages, raffle prizes, shaves from master barbers, a catered dinner, three hours of open bar and a premium cigar.
