Bills sign third-round draft pick Washington

The Buffalo Bills Tuesday signed third-round draft pick Adolphus Washington, a defensive tackle from Ohio State.

That leaves three of their picks during the April 28-30 NFL Draft unsigned: first-round outside linebacker Shaq Lawson from Clemson, second-round linebacker Reggie Ragland from Alabama, and fourth-round quarterback Cardale Jones from Ohio State.

The team previously agreed to deals with Jonathan Williams, a fifth-round running back from Arkansas, and both of their sixth-rounders: wide receiver Kolby Listenbee from TCU and cornerback Kevon Seymour from USC.

General Manager Doug Whaley initially told reporters covering the Bills that Washington would compete for a starting job, but in a later interview with NFL Network, he said Washington  would be a starter "right off the bus," along with Lawson and Ragland.
