Two vehicles crashed at 11:20 a.m. Monday when one driver turned into the path of an oncoming car in the 4200 block of Saunders Settlement Road in Cambria.
Both female drivers were injured in the near head-on crash. No names of the drivers have been released.
The eastbound vehicle attempted to make a left turn into a residence, although it was not her residence, and was hit by the oncoming westbound vehicle, according to Niagara County Sheriff Deputy Capt. Todd Ostrowski,
The driver who turned into the path of the oncoming car was taken to Erie County Medical Center with a head injury. She is expected to be charged with failure to use a designated lane, according to Ostrowski.
The other driver was treated for a foot injury, according to the report.
