FC Buffalo drops season opener to Rochester

FC Buffalo lost its season opener Saturday night, falling 1-0 to the Rochester River Dogz FC at Robert E. Rich All-High Stadium.

After a scoreless first half, Rochester’s Luke Pavone scored the game’s lone goal in the 63rd minute after Buffalo goalkeeper Nick Jeffs made the initial save.

The home opener drew 1,107 fans. FC Buffalo plays at AFC Cleveland on May 21 and returns home on May 27.
