Randolph student accused of making bomb threat to school

RANDOLPH – A 13-year-old student has been charged with making a bomb threat on Thursday afternoon at Randolph Central Schools, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office said.

The student will appear in Family Court to face the charge of second-degree falsely reporting an incident.

The teen wrote “what appeared to be a bomb threat to the school,” the sheriff’s office said.

No further details were released by authorities.
