Niagara Falls man charged after found driving with dagger around neck

TOWN OF NIAGARA – A Niagara Falls man driving with a dagger hanging around his neck faces drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop in the Town of Niagara.

State Police arrested Christopher Emes, 55, following a stop on Witmer Road just before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Emes, who was also driving with a suspended license, also had two marijuana joints and a pipe with marijuana residue on it, State Police said.

A trooper pulled his vehicle over after a passenger was seen not wearing a seatbelt.

Emes was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. State Police issued tickets for Town of Niagara Court.
