This year’s Catholic Charities appeal has reached 91 percent of its $11 million goal, the charity’s diocesan director reported.
“At this time last year, we were at 96 percent toward our $10.9 million goal,” Sister Mary McCarrick said in a news release. “Though we are tracking a bit behind where we were a year ago, we’re continuing to move forward at a steady pace.”
The appeal is now at $10,031,500, representing 91.2 percent of this year’s goal. The amount is up more than $500,000 since the last report was given on April 22.
The appeal ends June 30 with a fundraising concert at Kleinhans Music Hall featuring pop opera trio Forte Tenors.
