Students from local high schools will debate two propositions pertaining to the rights of defendants during a Law Day program Friday entitled “Miranda: More Than Words.”
The program, sponsored by the 8th Judicial District’s Committee to Promote Public Trust and Confidence in the Courts, runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Ceremonial Courtroom in Old County Hall, 92 Franklin St. The public is invited.
State Supreme Court Justice Paula Feroleto, administrative judge for the eight-county district, will welcome the panelists. WKBW-TV news reporter Desiree M. Wiley will serve as moderator.
