Buffalo Police seek help in weekend bike theft

Buffalo Police are looking for the public’s help after a bicycle was stolen Sunday afternoon from inside a parked car on Franklin Street.

According to police, the bike, a triathlon B-16 worth about $2,500, was stolen in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Police said somebody saw the bike inside the car, smashed a car window and took the two-wheeler.

The culprit was seen riding a different bike earlier in the day by city surveillance cameras at Franklin and Huron streets.
